Stormy weather

The weather pattern here this spring and now into summer has been one of too much rain. It is causing all sorts of problems here on the farm.

My corner of North Dakota

I’m a woman living on a farm in northeast North Dakota. I was raised on my family’s farm in central North Dakota and had dreams of a VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) career back in the early 1970s. Robert Kennedy had asked young people to choose to help others here in the US. I had visions of working in the Appalachian Mountains, helping those families. Well, none of that happened. This blog will be a record of what did happen to that girl.
